The U.S. Government has just announced the unveiling of the New $5 Bill, which will be available for circulation in early 2008. The introduction of the New $5 bill is being hailed as the "Wi-5" campaign and will be digitally available for viewing on September 20^th. Vendnet is preparing our tech center to be readied to upgraded most makes and models of $ Bill acceptors when the new $5 is finally launched. Some bill acceptors will need to be retuned to our service center for this modification while others will have hand-held programmers available for on-site upgrades. Watch for future announcements.
